My Story

Welcome!

My story...lets see...

I enjoy writing, I'll be the first to say that I'm not the best at writing..But I enjoy it! So I thought I would start a blog and see where it takes me! :)

You'll probably find me writing about the things that consume my daily life.

• DIY crafts
• working towards my goal weight and learning how to eat healthy
• home decor (I love decorating and redecorating my home!!)
• my journey in becoming a social worker and my practicum hours
• my mother, sister, boyfriend, and dogs!

Anyways.....

I am a 24 year old girl woman who is just trying to find my way in this world! 

My jobs:

1. Part time educator for Parents as Teachers half the week (during the months of Aug-May, I work through a school district)
2. Full time student at University of Missouri School of Social Work year round! I am set to graduate in May 2014! Yay!!!!
3. Starting in August, part time Hospice Social Worker! I am so excited but very nervous as I am leaping out of my comfort zone. I have worked with children for the past 9 years!
4. Nanny/Babysitter! Currently and mostly just during the summer months I pick up hours with kids while I am off from Parents as Teachers during the summer. 

YUP....I stay busy!

Here are those most important people in my life that you will probably hear a lot about as I post.

Cooper, Colby and Bailey!! Our sweet fur-babies! Cooper is our yorkie, Colby is a party cocker and Bailey is a chihuahua pomeranian mix. These dogs are so loved and spoiled!

Andrew, my boyfriend.

Andrew and I have been together 3 years this summer (2013)! We have a home together with our fur-baby, Bailey!
